My son's purchase

I helped my son order an affordable but nice Valentine's gift for his girlfriend.He chose this because the one review it had was good and it looked pretty nice. It arrived today and I can honestly saythat this is a gift that ANY woman would love. I don't mean just a young woman. I'm 54 and I would love this.It was inexpensive, but looks expensive. The chain is very nice and the box it came in looks like a jewelry shop box.Big thumbs up for this piece. Two of 'em.

Dainty and cute, but not worth the price.

When I received this necklace, my first thought was "Thank goodness I did not pay full price for this!" (I caught it on an Amazon Lightning Deal for thirty dollars less.) My second thought was that I was glad I was buying this for myself and not as a gift. Why? Because it is really cheap looking for something that is being sold for almost a hundred bucks! I bought this necklace to represent something sentimental to me, so I think I'll probably keep it even if I am disappointed in its quality.This necklace is described as having an 18" chain, but it seems to fall a good bit shorter on me than other necklaces I have that were also described as having an 18" chain. It does fit me, though it was short enough to make getting the clasp opened and closed by myself while wearing the necklace difficult.The first time I put on the necklace, I looked in the mirror to see it once it was on and realized that, after all that effort getting the clasp closed, I had put it on backwards. This was my first realization that the pendant looks totally different from the back than from the front. From the front, the largest heart is a nice shiny silver tone with a rounded edge, the middle heart has slightly glittery diamond chips and the small heart has a goldish/copperish tone with a rounded edge. I'd read the smallest heart described as "pink" in one of the reviews I read before buying the necklace, but I would in no way describe it as pink. From the back, all 3 hearts are silver-toned and very flat- and cheap-looking.One feature about the pendant that I really like is that the sides of the large heart are sort of filigreed and very pretty. Of course, most people viewing the necklace while I'm wearing it won't even notice that, but *I* like it.Many reviewers have mentioned how tiny the chain is and it is indeed very delicate looking, but I think it may be tougher than it appears. I had to pull on it while I was trying to get the clasp closed to wear it and I've also yanked on the chain while it was in the box and it hasn't shown any signs of breaking (yet).The necklace arrived with a tag on the chain which says "Made in India", for those of you who are looking to buy American.In summary, if you in a financial position to spend a hundred bucks on jewelry for a child, that is what I would recommend as the best use of this necklace. I think a young girl would really enjoy this necklace. Otherwise, if you're looking for something for your wife, girlfriend, etc., I think you could do better for a hundred bucks than this necklace. I sure hope so anyway.3 stars (barely)

I love this necklace! Recently, my father has left and it's just been my mom, my sister and I, so I bought my mom this necklace to show my support for her, and to symbolize the love the three of us share. When I got the necklace, it was perfect! Even though the diamonds are small, they sparkle, the gold heart looks delicate but is sturdy, and the big silver heart is beautiful! It has a lovely design on the outside of it, and the overall necklace isn't heavy at all! The chain is the perfect length, and I don't have one bad thing to say about the necklace! I totally reccomend that you get it, because it's money well spent! I can tell this necklace will last a long time.
